As stated, here you may post your experiences with IMVU, their so-called Customer Service, and anything else you have a complaint about but can't get a hearing in IMVU. it probably won't help, but you can say it anyway. This is especially for Content Creators (Developers, aka "devs"), but any IMVU user is free to post.

You are hereby warned NOT to post your IMVU avatar name here, or any email address that you use on IMVU, because IMVU WILL use it as cause to delete your account! And yes, they have done so.

  1. Dozens of my friends have been disabled over the past couple of months, all with the message, "you have been suspended for 999 days for pretending to be IMVU staff". When we make new accounts, pay for VIP to get the customer support, and send in tickets; IMVU responds to us with chat logs of our accounts pretending to be IMVU staff. However, none of us have done so, none of us have ever given our passwords, and we are all in the same IMVU RP group. After some research, we figured out that someone was and still is hacking all of us, and that person had paid $100 to a guy over MSN for a chat code that lets you into any account in about 3 second. Me and my friends tracked down the guy to buy the code from, bought it and it really works. We were able to get into any account in just a few seconds and make it do anything we want from chatting to changing / controlling rooms. Two months after reporting the code to several staff members, filing numerous tickets, creating a groups to petition the code, and buying new accounts with VIP to send the tickets with...the code still works and we have only gotten back 4 of the hacked accounts (which took lawyers just to get back). Still...IMVU has refused to patch the codes or make any comment other than sending our chat logs back to us of the hacker breaking TOS in our accounts. This is IMVU, they make a buggy program with zero security, make you pay for customer support, and even when you have mountains of solid proof that a large number of people were hacked..., they just ignore the problem and send an automated response.

  2. menaceuk i had my accounts hacked when reporting to imvu they just deleted my acocunts i lo9st numberous numbers of accounts at the time buyin the items from twinkle4u they did not aware us that is was illegal imvu simply deleted our accounts after investing consideras amounts of money they still ban us even if they have no ufi why dont they prosecute twinkle4u and how come the programs wor with imvu program http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=menaceukable#g/u take a look at it
